What Is Generational Noor?
Generational Noor, founded in 2021 by Amran Osman and fiscally sponsored by the Maine Immigrants Rights Coalition, is a youth-led nonprofit organization committed to addressing substance use disorder (SUD) within Maine's immigrant and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities. Our mission is to destigmatize conversations surrounding mental health and SUD, while providing culturally competent resources to support individuals on their recovery journey.
